It is understood that startups upon completing their projects with the finalized status are meeting the objectives of the StartUp Peru initiative, which are defined as success for them. Therefore, a qualitative research was carried out using the multiple case study strategy under a holistic approach on which the key success factors are employed by nineteen startups that successfully completed the StartUp Peru contest promoted by Innóvate Peru. The results show that there are defined success factors, which when implemented could increase the success rate of startups; furthermore, the three groups of factors identified: individuals, organizationals and methodologicals have been important for the success of their startups according to the majority of those interviewed (seventeen). The factors that were most frequently presented are: Network of contacts and Talent of the entrepreneurial leader belonging to the group of individuals; Have the right team and Find a market, belonging to the group of organizationals and; Use of technology belonging to the group of methodologicals. Likewise, a conceptual framework is proposed on which the success factors of startups are whose projects were financed by StartUp Peru. This conceptual framework can serve as a reference and guide for new startups on their path to being successful.
