This article analyzes the imputation of violations of the principles and duties of Law No. 27815 – Law of the Code of Ethics of the Public Service in the pronouncements of the Civil Service Court, considering that this class of imputations implies the use of indirect classification by referral express and the use of indeterminate legal concepts. It should be noted that the objective of this work is to identify some criteria extracted from the pronouncements of the Civil Service Court, as well as to suggest some other criteria for the correct imputation of this type of infractions of an undetermined nature. In this sense, the first part develops the importance of ethics in public office and how the application of this type of infractions has developed in our legal system. In the second part, the imputation of ethical violations is confronted with the principles of legality and typicality, considering the indeterminate nature of the principles and duties of Law No. 27815. Finally, in the third part, some application criteria developed in the pronouncements of the Civil Service Court related to the imputation of violations of the principles of probity, suitability, truthfulness, as well as the duties of neutrality, transparency and responsibility.
