The main objective of this study is to analyze the relationship between work-family interaction and work engagement in a group of workers of a computer security company in the home office modality in Metropolitan Lima. Two measurement instruments were applied to 88 workers (61 men and 27 women), the first was the Survey Work-Home Interaction-Nijmegen (SWING) (Moreno et al., 2009) to assess work-family interaction. The second, the Utrecht Work Engagement Scale version 9 (UWES-9) (Schaufeli & Bakker, 2003) for work engagement. The type of study is descriptive and correlational, which resulted in inversely significant correlations between negative work-family interaction with the dimensions of vigor and dedication, as well as positive work-family interaction with vigor. In addition, the descriptive analysis showed higher levels in the scales of positive interaction (M=1.86) than negative interaction (M=1.46), as well as the dimensions of the work engagement variable, which are dominated by dedication (M=3.36) and absorption (M=3.26). Thus, both work and family axes are important in the lives of workers, and companies should provide support policies in order to benefit the balance between work and family and thus work engagement.
