Conditional cash transfer programs are a main mechanism of social security systems. In Peru, the conditional cash transfer program is the National Direct Support Program for the Poorest - Together, which aims to contribute to the reduction of poverty and extreme poverty by preventing its intergenerational transmission through the delivery of conditional monetary incentives for access to health and education services. This research aims to answer the following questions: 1) what is the use that beneficiaries give to monetary incentives in reducing chronic childhood malnutrition? 2) in what way are the conditional monetary incentives assigned aimed at obtaining nutritional food? 3) what is the assessment given by the beneficiaries to the monetary incentives provided by the program, and to their use (by themselves) in the reduction of chronic childhood malnutrition? After a theoretical and evidence review, and a field work carried out in the Perené district, Chanchamayo province, Junín region, this research analyzes the willingness of the beneficiaries to reduce chronic child malnutrition through use of conditional monetary incentives.
