Indusoft Solutions S.A.C. (hereinafter, “the company”) is a Peruvian company specialized in providing system integration services for automation, control, monitoring and supervision of industrial processes. Its main clients are companies in the industrial sector that seek improvement in their automation processes, monitoring and control of their operations, also including building management systems (BMS). The purpose of this consultancy was to identify the main problem that the company is going through, and propose a viable solution to overcome it. To identify the main problem and its causes, the study of the business model, the internal and external context was carried out through the PESTEC analysis and the use of the AMOFHIT, MEFE, MEFI and cause-effect diagram tools; It was found that the main problem of the company is the concentration of sales in four clients, which means a great risk if it were to lose one of these clients since it would affect its objectives, by reducing its income and increasing the possibility of not being able to meet its financial obligations. The solution could have a high impact since, by increasing the number of clients, it would allow it to achieve its objectives, increase its sales and therefore, its income. Once the main problem was established, three alternative solutions were analyzed: (a) Relational strategy, (b) implementation of a data analysis system for decision traceability, and (c) entry into new markets with growth potential. The first two alternatives were selected, whose implementation requires an investment of S/ 92,340.20, with NPV of S/ 118,956.60, IRR of 57% and benefit-cost of 2.29, which demonstrates its economic viability.
