Gandules Inc. S.A.C. is a private equity corporation founded in 2002 that has years of experience dedicated to land management for agricultural purposes in the Jayanca valleys in the Lambayeque region and San Pedro in the Libertad region. It is an innovative company dedicated to the planting, production, processing, packaging, packaging and marketing of its own products in a wide variety of presentations: peppers, jalapeños, pigeon peas, green chili, mango among others. It has a modern agro-industrial plant located in the Jayanca valley in the Lambayeque region, which has been built next to the cultivation fields in order to guarantee the quality of the freshly harvested products that are processed in optimal conditions. To identify the main problem, interviews were conducted with the general management and the heads of the area, determining that the main problem is the deficient production process that increases operating costs. For this purpose, it was observed that the three primary causes are: the lack of continuous inspection in the production process, the lack of standardization of the production processes, and the lack of inspection in agricultural lands. In addition, the external and internal analysis was carried out, as well as the literature review that served as the basis for proposing six improvement alternatives, such as: the development of a master plan of the plant with a view to automation, financing through renting, renegotiation with suppliers, strategic management and marketing tools. In this sense, an implementation schedule was drawn up for each improvement alternative, assigning a budget, deadline, and responsible parties. The standardization of each improvement was presented through Deliverables, in which the qualitative benefit is detailed. Regarding the quantitative benefit, the economic and financial evaluation was carried out, demonstrating the viability of the project, reviewing two scenarios. In the optimistic scenario, the net present value is S / .1´624,920.00, the rate of return of 95.88%, and the recovery period is from the second year. On the other hand, in the pessimistic scenario, the net present value is S /. 238,000.00, the rate of return of 3.74%, and the payback period is from the fifth year.
