For the economic progress of a country, an important factor is the support to the entrepreneur, adding facilities for their development and strengthening. The sharing economy and its presence in coworking environments can accelerate that growth. In Peru, it is important to generate platforms and / or suitable environments that facilitate the harvest of innovative ventures that generate benefits. Those capacities are intrinsically related to the human factor, their experiences and technical capacities. Sometimes achieving these capabilities requires good networking and affordable costs to turn them into reality; hence, this work will develop an evaluation of the current coworking environments that Lima offers, since this city includes the largest number of companies in this area in the country. This evaluation will be based on companies that work in coworking environments, in order to identify the factors that influence the development of this type of initiative. The research will be quantitative and exploratory in nature. A bespoke instrument will be applied, since there are few studies on this topic. A correlational analysis will be carried out, since the relationship between the variables under study will be sought. Surveys will be applied to users of the selected coworking organizations. The research question is, is coworking a useful tool for entrepreneurship in Metropolitan Lima? Furthermore, we will work with a convenience sample, which means that a non probabilistic sampling technique is applied, since the population will be selected from the availability of the groups identified in Metropolitan Lima. In this case, a total of 89 people who work or have worked individually in coworking spaces and / or who are part of companies that carry out their activities in coworking environments, in the capital of Peru, were surveyed. The study determined that coworking has the potential to boost entrepreneurial intention, not only because of the economic benefits of savings, but also because of the social capital that it contributes to ventures, mainly made up of collaboration and shared knowledge. The statistical analysis showed that these variables have a certain and influential relationship towards the intention of entrepreneurship and, therefore, coworking can be considered a useful tool for entrepreneurship in Metropolitan Lima today. Finally, it is recommended that the institutions that promote coworking worldwide focus their efforts on extracting useful information about the ventures created in coworking spaces, which allow access to reliable data on their business results; as well as promoting research on other social variables that add value to coworking spaces.
