The purpose of this research work is to apply the principles of Good Corporate Governance within the organizational structure of the Medical College of Peru, listed by our regulations as an autonomous institution with a public law personality; that although it is not a private company as are the companies for which these principles were designed, it needs to apply innovative criteria to be able to re-emphasize its institutional image and reputation in society. Historically, the Medical College of Peru is one of the most representative professional associations in our country as it is the representative of the medical profession and guarantor before society that the medical professionals it enables have adequate training and constant training, ensuring that medical acts made by its members are within the ethical and deontological parameters required by its code of ethics. An institution with such an order, needs a strong, inspiring, prob, transparent, ethical image, worthy of imitating to achieve a great impact on society, and this is achieved through a transformation and renewal of internal norms and mentality and management of surgeons, who after being democratically elected by their peers, represent it.
