The following study has the objective to understand the causal attributions of success and failure of the feedback methods teachers use with primary level students within public institutions in different provinces of Peru during the COVID 19 curfew where virtual and remote teaching where used, a total of seven teachers where interviewed, all of them with more than ten years of professional experience within the classroom. The results reveal that teachers attribute success of their student performance to the feedback provided around external factors like parent’s support, and internal factors like the quality of relationship they have with their student. On the other side, most of the teachers consider that failure is a consequence of student’s performance when feedback is not provided to external factors like parents and the lack of access to technology from them and the students. The reflection process around their pedagogical practices translates into a sense of frustration on teachers, since teachers are not allowed to provide the feedback, they would like. However, teachers are resourceful and try to use several alternatives to reach out to students and therefore that initial frustration is compensated in the new context given by the COVID 19 pandemic.
