The present thesis entitled “The methodology used by a private educational institution for psychomotor development in II cycle children in a long distance education“ is a research conducted within the framework of the qualitative approach and descriptive level, which responds to a single-case study and has as general objective: analyze the methodology used by private I.E. of pre-school education for psychomotor development in II cycle children in a distance education. From this, there are two specific objectives: describe the psychomotor development in children of II pre-school education cycle and identify the methodology used in a long distance education for children of II pre-school education cycle. For the conduct of this study, a matrix of documentary analysis was used, which was applied based on the videos of the movement section of the virtual platform of the educational institution. In addition, an interview guide was applied to a teacher. The application of the interview, focuses on collecting the perceptions and strategies used by the teacher in the framework of a distance education to enable the development of sessions focused on the psychomotor area. Based on the results obtained in this research, it is identified that the current context denotes an opportunity for change and learning to innovate and propose new ways of teaching. In addition, the methodology developed is based on free play, a principle that generates enjoyment and pleasure in the student, which develop significant experiences.
