The current crisis that the world is going through because of the pandemic has caused work styles to change radically, having to adapt and work remotely to maintain commercial dynamics and achieve the proposed objectives. The purpose of this research is to investigate how remote work helps to increase the commitment of collaborators and helps in fulfilling the mission of the company and it is important to demonstrate it because it will help the work to be perform efficiently and effectively for the benefit of the organization. This study was carried out on workers in the commercial area brokers of one of the most important companies in the insurance sector in Metropolitan Lima, in which quantitative and qualitative methods were used. As well, as a descriptive design to analyze the level of commitment through surveys and an exploratory design, using interviews to assess whether remote work increases the workers’ engagement. The study explains that 68% of those surveyed, remote work has allowed them to increase their commitment to the organization, as well as consider remote work in the same percentage as a competitive tool for companies. On the other hand, it is important to note that, according to the information obtained in the research process, one of the most important aspects for the organization is the organizational culture, which is part of the DNA of all workers. These results are potentially generalizable and show that remote work applied abruptly as it has carried out, continues to keep employees engaged and that, if companies wish to implement it as a form of work in the future, it must be done gradually and with defined protocols.
