The circumstances caused by Covid-19 have forced educational institutions to switch from in-person to virtual education and therefore change their teaching methodology, strategies and approaches in order to adapt to this new reality. This professional sufficiency thesis aims to reflect on the change in teaching-learning methodology conducted by a private school in the district of San Isidro with pre-school children during the pandemic. For this purpose, a meaningful teaching experience was identified, described, contextualized and reflected upon; the methodology chosen for the study was a reflective case narrative of this experience, supported by diverse evidence gathered throughout this period. This was done were to describe the teaching-learning strategies implemented with the pre-school students in virtual sessions, as well as reflect upon the aforementioned meaningful teaching experience within the context of the pandemic expressed through the capacity for creation, adaptation and resilience by virtue of the change in teaching methodology. It also aimed to reflect upon the information received previously in the Faculty of Education at PUCP, and present a number of improvement proposals to enrichen the Faculty’s formative approach. The current study shows that in order to carry out a change in methodology for meaningful learning during a pandemic, it is necessary for teachers to familiarize themselves with ICTs and be trained in order to ensure the teachinglearning process provided is of quality, meaningful and relevant to students.
