This work seeks to design, by simulation and selection of components, a prototype capable of providing oxygen-enriched air at a temperature between 31 and 37°C, controlled relative humidity greater than 70%, and at a flow of up to 60 L/min, to its use in patients who need non-invasive respiratory therapy with high-flow cannulae. A research methodology will be used by levels (first level, second level, third level), where each level will use a morphological matrix and a technical analysis chart that is its instrument, because the research is quantitative. Finally, it was designed, outlined and simulated using engineering software, managing to select the sensors and components for the process, simulating the operation of the PID controller that allows us to guarantee the requested temperature and humidity and that meets the minimum requirements of the American Association for Respiratory Care.
