This research develops the proposal of how the independent label Necio Records has become, in the last five years, the articulating agent of an independent rock scene in the city of Lima, where psychedelia -in its aesthetic, musical aspects , visual and performative- it is an essential element of the bands that it publishes and promotes. For this reason, the main objective will be to understand the process in which a musical label based on self-management can be the articulator of a scene, by demonstrating its influence as an integrating axis of projects and bands previously disaggregated. This articulation will be interpreted from a chronology of independent musical backgrounds related to psychedelia and experimentation; the commented review of texts on the theory of scenes and the analysis of a selection of recordings edited by Necio Records, through which more essentialist aspects, such as aesthetic and discursive, will be traced. Likewise, the relation of the activities of the label is demonstrated as a resonance focus of a psychedelic scene of translocal dimensions where virtual articulation network strategies are essential. The research, which is also based on the testimony of various actors involved, proposes a contribution to the visibility of a larger universe of experimental musical proposals, self-managed, on the margins of the Lima mainstream.
