The objective of this thesis was to determine if the purchasing management proposal applying the analytical hierarchical process (AHP) contributes to the improvement of sustainable purchasing management in the company P&D Andina Alimentos S.A., the research had a quantitative approach, transactional design and descriptive scope. The results obtained show that there is no methodology for the evaluation and selection of the company's suppliers, they only do it taking into account the quality criteria, they did not consider the criteria of sustainable purchases. The implementation of the AHP methodology was carried out for the evaluation and selection of suppliers, having as main axis the following criteria: Sustainability, quality, financial and production, the SUPER DECISIONS software was used to carry out the run of the implementation of the AHP methodology where The suppliers of 5 inputs were analyzed, having the following results: for the cardboard input, the company CARVINSA was selected, for sugar the company Sol de Laredo was selected, for the labels the supplier Amauta was selected, for pectin Quimtia S.A. was chosen. and for flexible packaging, Novalene was chosen. The application of the AHP methodology is recommended, because with the sustainable purchasing policies the company reduced its water consumption by 2,360.83 m3, energy savings of 1,576,448.97 kWh and hazardous waste generated by 3,065.95 MT per year; which generates savings of S/ 321,119.53 per year. Likewise, the project generates a NPV of S/ 819,249.59, an IRR of 136.70%, a B/C of 8.00 and a return on investment in 0.75 years, therefore, the project is viable.
