Abstract: En la presente investigación se analiza sobre la importancia de las artes plásticas en
el desarrollo integral en la primera infancia. Es innegable el aporte de estas en el
desarrollo integral infantil, ya que contribuye en el desarrollo socioemocional,
facilitando que los niños y niñas puedan expresar su mundo interior mediante sus
creaciones artísticas, es decir hacen tangible aquello que es intangible. La realización
de actividades y el uso de variados materiales artísticos fortalecen el desarrollo motor
fino y la sensorialidad, ya que permite que los infantes desarrollen destrezas como la
coordinación viso manual, bilateral, la pinza y dominio muscular. Las artes plásticas,
también, favorecen el aspecto académico, la lectura y el lenguaje, las matemáticas,
las capacidades cognitivas y creativas para la resolución de problemas. De ahí la
importancia de que en las escuelas se integren las artes plásticas de manera
transversal, puesto que repercute de manera positiva en el desarrollo infantil. La
metodología utilizada es la investigación documental, puesto que este trabajo se basa
en la búsqueda de información de diferentes fuentes bibliográficas.
In this investigation analyzes the importance of plastic arts in integral development in early childhood. The contribution of the plastic arts in the integral child development is undeniable, since they contribute to socio-emotional development, facilitating that children can express their inner world through their artistic creations that is, they make tangible what is intangible. The realization of activities and the use of different artistic materials strengthen fine motor development and sensoriality, since it allows infants to develop skills such as hand-eye coordination, bilateral, pincer and muscle mastery. The plastic arts, also, favor in the academic aspect, because they contribute to the development of reading and language, mathematics, cognitive and creative abilities for solving problems. From this the importance of integrating the visual arts in schools in a transversal way, because it has a positive impact on child development. The methodology used is documentary research, since this work is based on the search for information from different bibliographic sources.
