The micro and small business of a restaurant in Peru presents very low returns, due to the business model itself; as well as other factors related to traditional management models that often lead to increased costs and generate other hidden ones. In this sense, the Food Support business model offers a supply service of agricultural products to restaurants, differentiating itself from traditional supply systems because it adds quality, modernity and formality to this type of service, in addition to generating benefits for the end user in its product, processes and inventories, which contributes to improving its profitability levels. The business model ensures its viability with a profitable cash flow for ten years, with a positive NPV of 5.7 million soles and with a rate of return greater than the expected opportunity cost, which allows recovering the initial investment of 624 thousand soles. Likewise, backed by a marketing mix plan, an increase in annual sales is estimated starting at 8% in the second year of operations due to the innovation in the provision of agricultural inputs that Food Support proposes even to an unattended market, in addition to investing more than 150 thousand soles in marketing the first year. Progressively the annual growth will end with 3.3% in the tenth year being close to the attention capacity of the plant. On the social profitability side of the solution, we can indicate that this is much higher than the financial profitability obtained, reaching a social NPV of 26.8 million soles in the ten years of operation, at a discount rate of 8%, having high social benefits due to the reduction of time and optimization in the management of supplies, in addition to reductions in harmful emissions products from the transport of supplies to the environment, which makes Food Support a socially responsible business with its community.
