In the present thesis, a set of optical and digital techniques for the digital and color reconstruction of archaeological pieces is proposed. These are done with the aim to obtain a method that allows digital preserving of cultural heritage. The digital reconstruction is initiated by the projection of structured lights: sinusoidal fringes are projected to encode the information of the 3D relief. On the other hand, three constant profiles of light are projected for the polychromatic relief since a monochromatic camera is used. Then the captured images are digitally processed on the MATLAB software, which controls the complete process of surface reconstruction together with the texture of their colors. The work continues with the color reconstruction of four masks of different colors. And subsequently, for the refinement of the techniques, two objects corresponding to a replica of a small sarcophagus of the Chachapoyas culture and a jug of the Mochica culture are used. For each digital reconstruction, in color and complete, the object is rotated successively at constant angles until completing a full turn and each perspective digitized in 3D surfaces are finally merged. Finally, it is verified that it is possible to generate a color image using a monochrome camera and the digital results present a similar shape and color to the samples used.
