The topic of this research is the development of interpersonal intelligence during the pandemic, whose problem is: “what are the perceptions of caregivers of children in the second cycle of the early childhood education regarding the development of interpersonal intelligence during the pandemic?“ This question is intended to be answered through the general objective of the study: to analyze the perceptions of caregivers about the development of the child's interpersonal intelligence during the pandemic; and its specific objectives: to describe the perceptions of the caregivers about the interpersonal skills that characterize the child and to describe the perceptions of the caregivers about the way in which the child regulates his personal behavior during his interactions. The methodology on which it is based is of a qualitative approach and of a descriptive type since it brings together the subjectivities of the caregivers regarding a specific topic; and categories and subcategories are used, as well as information present in the conceptual framework and participant observation, to guarantee the truthful, precise and systematic nature of the investigation. In conclusion, the caregivers belonging to the interviewed group perceive that the pandemic has affected the development of the interpersonal intelligence of the children in their care, both in the acquisition of interpersonal skills and in the self-regulation of their behavior. This thesis, it should be noted, contributes to the topic of interest since it serves as a precedent for future studies, because there is currently not enough information on the consequences of the pandemic on the child's interpersonal development.
