The generation of waste that pollutes the environment is a relevant problem nowadays. Part of this waste are products that, despite their good condition, are disposed of since they are close to their expiration date. With the application of agile methodologies, the fact that this problem is significant was identified, both for the consumer and for the retail sector supplier, due to the harmful impact on the environment and the economic losses generated by not selling these products. The proposed solution comprises the development of a marketplace, in web and app versions, through which products close to their expiration date, with low rotation and/or in overstock are marketed, offering discounts of 50% on average; this solution is aimed at a target market made up of consumers belonging to socioeconomic levels A, B and C who carry out their household purchases in digital media and who prefer to save. The desirability and feasibility of the project are supported by the marketing plan, the operations plan, and the prototype test, as well as the results of the interviews and surveys conducted with consumers and suppliers. The project is economically viable because in the first five years of operation an NPV of S/. 1'864,704 is obtained, considering a gradual increase in the penetration of the target market and the growth of the digital market. With regards to the social factor, the solution is relevant since it has an impact on three Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and has a social NPV of S/ 5’048,080; in addition, the consumer is economically benefited with tangible savings in the purchase costs of the family shopping basket. Finally, for the project to be implemented satisfactorily, it is recommended to focus efforts on key points such as the marketing plan, the negotiation of the assortment with suppliers, the business growth plan and urban logistics.
