The goa lof this project is to describe the current conditions regarding pedestrian and cyclist mobility in the sector 10 of the district of “Miraflores”, wich is enclosed by the roads “Malecón de la Marina”, “Jorge Polar” Street, “General Córdova” ave., “Angamos Oeste” ave., “Tudela y Varela” ave., “Alfredo Salazar” street, “José del Llano Zapata” street, “Emilio Cavenecia” ave., “Santa Cruz” ave. and “José de la Torre Ugarte” ave., also, to propose a network of cycle lanes in the sector. To do so, tour were made using the software Google earth and walking, taking photographs and videos in the interest areas. Also, an intersection was chose to make an analysis in a micro scale, the intersection chose was located between the roads “Mariscal La Mar” ave., “Hipólito Unanue” ave. and “Mariano Melgar” street. To do this micro analysis a modelo of the intersection is made in the software PTV VISSIM and, with this model as a base, modifications are proposed to improve its performance for vehicles transit, as well as pedestrian and cyclist transit. This report shows the results obtained in the analysis of the current situation in the sector and in the models made in PTV VISSIM of the current and proposed situations. Also, the stadistics processes used for the calibration and validation of the current situation model is described in depth. When comparing the results obtained with the models of the current and proposed situations, a remarkable improvement in the intersection was noted. Nevertheless, the proposal depends a lot on the signage and on the drivers, pedestrians and cyclists respecting the signs and the rules for its correct performance.
