During Covid-19 public health crisis, violence cases in peru increased considerably. Only in 2020, in the region of Piura, over 5 thousand cases of domestic violence were attended in the Centros de Emergencia Mujer (CEM) (MIMP, 2020). Based on the results of the diagnosis, the weak family communication was identified as a main and transverse problem in a context of domestic violence inside homes of Piura. + Juntos is a Communication for Development project that aims to strengthen intra-family communication between parents, caregivers, and adolescents in senior year of highschool of the Fe y Alegría N ° 49 school in the Veintiséis de Octubre district in Piura. The project used a investigation-action strategy, as well as different information gathering tools like interviews and focus group. For the purpose of the initiative, a pilot plan was implemented and it had the following results: (1) all adolescents recognized the importance of having an active role in family communication; (2) furthermore, they considered that dialogue it is the most effective way of solving conflicts.
