This research arises from participatory observations made in discontinuous practices, where the use of literary texts is frequent in the different moments of the learning activity. In this regard, the present descriptive research with a qualitative approach has the general objective of analyzing the use of literary texts to favor the development of orality in a 5-year-old classroom of a Public Educational Institution in Huancavelica; likewise, the specific objectives of identifying the literary texts used by teachers for the development of orality in a 5-year-old classroom of a Public Educational Institution of Huancavelica and describing the use of literary texts for the development of orality in the aforementioned population are presented. The research is based on academic sources of the last 10 years, thus having recent information on literary texts. From the inquiry it is shown that the teacher does present a constant use of literary texts of different genres, which allow the development of orality through interactions, however, these texts still lack the cultural manifestations of the locality and provide new terms to the child.
