The main objective of this research is to present the current state of institutions in the education sector in terms of innovation and their adoption of technology. To achieve this, data collection methods were designed and carried out, allowing us to reach conclusions and recommendations from first-hand information. For the present study, quantitative and descriptive analyses were done using the data obtained from surveying a number of institutions within the target segment. This survey complied with the standards established by the Universidad Catolica's Graduate School, aligning with the secondary objectives mentioned in the Objectives section of this investigation. This research was developed in the unique historical context of a global pandemic, which disrupted traditional educational models, generating a greater focus on technological development and the application of innovative methods to help both institutions and their human resources navigate the turbulent context. With the results obtained from this research, we faced the challenge of developing a roadmap that will seek to improve the management of these new situations and adapt them appropriately to generate strategies that are sustainable over time. Among the main findings of the research, we found that 100% of the surveyed institutions in the education sector switched to a virtual model of customer service and also that 100% of these institutions changed their tuition collection methods, being forced to reduce their fees in many cases.
