This research seeks to answer the question: What are the teacher perceptions about classroom interaction with animals to promote socio-emotional development in 3-yearold children of a private Institution in Lima? in this line, it seeks to analyze which are the teachers' perceptions about the interaction with animals to promote socioemotional development in 3-year-old children from a private Institution in Lima. The research is descriptive and takes a qualitative methodological approach. Research shows that animals contribute significantly to the development of children, especially for the development of socio-emotional skills, and within the classroom they are a great support to promote various skills and behaviors, such as respect, empathy, and responsibility, as well as promoting socialization, which is important and should be put into practice from early childhood to achieve optimal development. In this way, the research supports the thesis findings, which show the importance of the teacher's role in the educational experiences of interaction with animals, and how these interactions allow children to be a part of their learning process and foster the emergence of these socio-emotional skills, from before the arrival of the animal in the classroom.
