Since 2001, for the first time, the National Police of Peru has among its ranks female officers who work as airplane and helicopter pilots of the Police Aviation Directorate, carrying out different air operations nationwide. From that year to the year 2021, 25 female pilots have been trained and prepared to operate police aircraft. They managed to pass all the entrance tests, later they fulfilled the training and specialization processes satisfactorily. Upon graduation, they began their flight phase in police operations in different types of geographical conditions in our country in order to gain experience and continue their natural progression, but that has not happened. Compared to their male peers, female pilots do not progress in the same way. In this innovation project, the work team projects the causes of the problem that have been identified to date; Given that, a series of variables are exposed that currently prevent female pilots from progressing in the same way as male pilots; this in order to create an equitable work environment, as well as to effectively complete the air crews and meet the demand for air support at the national level.
