Human trafficking for sexual exploitation is one of the greatest violations of human rights, according to the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) in its Global Report on Trafficking in Persons 2020 (UNODC) noted that they are 50% of the identified cases of trafficking worldwide and 65% that occurs especially in women and girls. In addition, the Americas is the region with the highest presence of this form of exploitation and Peru is no stranger to this reality. This, research analyzes the model of care for adolescents and young women at risk and victims of trafficking for purposes of sexual exploitation carried out by the Instituto Religioso Adoratrices Esclavas del Santísimo Sacramento y de la Caridad (IRAESSC), specifically at its headquarters in Lima: Casa Santa María Micaela. The research focuses the work that was developed from 2015 to 2017 with the objective of identifying the factors that contributed or limited the care. It is a case study of Casa Santa María Micaela. The methodological design is qualitative , that’s why focus groups, semi-structured interviews and documentary review were developed, whose triangulation has allowed a higher level of security and saturation of information, as well as offered complete information with the necessary depth for the analysis. Finally, the research carried out is a contribution from Social Management, because it contributes to the work for the protection and restitution of the rights of adolescents and young people, especially women victims of trafficking for sexual exploitation. It also provides recommendations for the definition of models of care, especially when there is an important priority of intervention in this line of work from the State in view of the need for more resources and care services that are demanded not only in Lima, but also at the national level.
