Social media plays an important role in shopping. For this reason, this research work aims to analyze the relationship that the social network Facebook has in the decision to purchase oversize polo shirts in young women between 18 and 29 years old from the district of Paramonga 2020. Within the purchase decision, the factors are analyzed personal, social, cultural and psychological. And in the Facebook variable, usefulness, frequency of use, reactions and comments, Marketplace and groups are considered. This is a quantitative investigation, where it is intended to study the correlation of the independent variable with the dependent one. The survey consisted of twenty questions and the Likert scale was used, being validated by Cronbach's Alpha coefficient. Additionally, five questions were asked to find out the demographic profile of the respondents. A sample of 324 young women between 18 and 29 years old was applied. And statistical programs such as Excel and SPSS v.25 were used for data processing and analysis. As a result, it was obtained that, if there is a correlation between Facebook and the purchase decision, this means that Facebook does influence the decision to purchase oversize polo shirts in young women from the Paramonga district during 2020. To this is added that the personal factor is the one that has the most impact on decision-making.
