Conocimiento y actitudes hacia el cuidado paliativo en pacientes con enfermedad terminal en enfermeras en un hospital de Lima, 2021

Abstract

El presente estudio de investigación tuvo un enfoque cuantitativo, diseño no experimental, corte transversal y alcance Correlacional, que tuvo como objetivo determinar los Conocimientos y actitudes hacia el cuidado paliativo en pacientes con enfermedad terminal en enfermeras de un hospital de Lima, 2021, teniendo una muestra conformada por 80 enfermeros, asimismo, el instrumento es el cuestionario bajo una escala de Likert que evaluó el nivel de conocimiento sobre cuidados paliativos que consta de 18 preguntas, asimismo, el cuestionario actitud del personal de enfermería frente a los cuidado paliativos que consta por 14 preguntas. Los resultados identificados mostraron que el 38.8% de los profesionales de enfermería si tiene conocimientos sobre el cuidado paliativo y a su vez muestra una actitud favorable, además, la dimensión con mayor conocimiento es el componente social (40%) y el de menor conocimiento es la dimensión espiritual con un 20%. Se concluyó que, a mayor nivel de conocimiento, el personal de enfermería contará con una actitud favorable para la atención del paciente.

The present research study had a quantitative approach, non-experimental design, cross-sectional and Correlational scope, which was to determine the Knowledge and attitudes towards palliative care in patients with terminal illness in nurses from a hospital in Lima, 2021, having a sample made up of 80 nurses, identifier, the instrument is the questionnaire under a Likert scale that evaluated the level of knowledge about palliative care consisting of 18 questions, identifier, the attitude questionnaire of nursing staff towards palliative care consisting of 14 questions.
