The present research study had a quantitative approach, non-experimental design, cross-sectional and Correlational scope, which was to determine the Knowledge and attitudes towards palliative care in patients with terminal illness in nurses from a hospital in Lima, 2021, having a sample made up of 80 nurses, identifier, the instrument is the questionnaire under a Likert scale that evaluated the level of knowledge about palliative care consisting of 18 questions, identifier, the attitude questionnaire of nursing staff towards palliative care consisting of 14 questions. The identified results showed that 38.8% of the nursing professionals do have knowledge about palliative care and in turn show a favorable attitude, in addition, the dimension with the greatest knowledge is the social component (40%) and the one with the least knowledge is the social component. spiritual dimension with 20%. It was concluded that the higher the level of knowledge, the nursing staff will have a favorable attitude towards patient care.
