This current research task has as its aim to analyze the diverse tools of commercial intelligence in order to increase the Barraza community’s maracuyá pulp exports towards the Brazilian market. To understand the meaning of commercial intelligence and how this, through its tools, can be a key factor to increase the Barraza community’s maracuyá pulp exports to Brazil, first we have defined its concept and benefits. For this, several publications and web portals were analyzed which permitted us to determine prices, export volumes, potential markets, among other very important factors. To undertake a study of Commercial Intelligence is a necessary step for all entrepreneurs who wish to get into or improve their participation in International Trade. The community of Barraza is a zone of the department of La Libertad which has been farming maracuyá for some time with an excellent output per hectare at harvest. Analysis charts as tools, data links and valid source references were undertaken that allowed us to obtain more information concerning the research topic. We undertook an analysis of the main exporters of maracuyá pulp for the Brazilian market, where Israel is shown as the country that generates the largest income through this exporting and Chile as the country that exports the largest volume in tons to Brazil. Moreover, we analyzed the exporting FOB value of the main maracuyá pulp exporters to Brazil, showing Israel as the country with the highest FOB value. Peru maintains a FOB price within the average range of maracuyá pulp exporting to Brazil. La Libertad is the fourth region that possesses the largest maracuyá production nationwide, with a good output per hectare in recent years, having Laredo as the district with highest production second only to Trujillo. Taking everything that we have mentioned in account, through this study it is shown that the application of commercial intelligence through its tools will allow the Barraza community to identify business opportunities before the competition does and take advantage of them in the best way, besides allowing the Barraza community to anticipate the changes in the market and analyze the competition.
