The present research basically focuses on the comparative study of the compressive and tensile strength of concrete in cylindrical specimens, designed at a strength of f'c = 210kg/cm2, replacing 3% and 5% of the coarse aggregate with crushed glass and replacing 1% and 2% of cement with ground eggshell, which were tested in the laboratory according to Peruvian standards. Five types of mix design were carried out, of which one was the standard design, which was used to make the pertinent comparisons, and the other four were variations between glass and eggshell (3% crushed glass+1% ground eggshell, 3% crushed glass +2% ground eggshell, 5% crushed glass +1% ground eggshell and 5% crushed glass +2% ground eggshell). Our population consisted of 90 cylindrical specimens, of which 45 were subjected to compression test and the remaining 45 to tensile test, these were studied at ages of 7, 14 and 28 days after casting, which were duly cured. To conclude, the results obtained with the standard concrete exceeded the design f'c = 210kg/cm2 while the experimental concrete in substitution of 3% crushed glass, 1% and 2% eggshell were able to exceed the standard design. On the other hand, the combination of 5% crushed glass and 1% and 2% eggshell were not able to exceed the standard resistance, on the contrary, they considerably decreased the resistance.
