This pre-feasibility study for the production and export oleoresin paprika to the United States, taking as a basis prepared that this is a product with a competitive advantage to compete in the market for natural dyes for the U.S. market, developing a production project paprika oleoresin in the Viru Valley - La Libertad in Peru. The pre-feasibility study involved collection of technical, market, economic and financial. The market favors paprika oleoresin production in Peru, due to geographical conditions regarding market points. Also, the global industry trend of replacing synthetic substances by natural could make room for the oleoresin paprika to achieve greater commercial development. The market has come to our attention, is the U.S., for reasons described below. Closing favorable Peru negotiations with the U.S. to sign the Free Trade Agreement (FTA), Peru has a free tariff rate for the export of our product, that will benefit us in the treaty because it is determined that the tariffs for our product are zero. The oleoresin is an oil resulting from the extraction of pepper and paprika concentration, which is used as a natural coloring of food industries, cosmetics and pharmaceutical industries. The business proposes to move from traditional marketing to producing fruit for export oleoresin. For this, there is the advantage of growing all year round - with higher volumes between March and July - on the coast, which has the best conditions for obtaining a quality product. The financial analysis based on an initial investment of U.S. $ 309.405, ensures that the production of oleoresin paprika is a profitable business because the FNPV of the project is U.S. $ 264.002 when requesting a loan of 46% of total investment and one VANE U.S. $ 205.348 when all investment is covered by the membership. Also gave a PULL 39.39% which is higher than the interest rate is 12%, the TIRF also turned out to be much higher than the interest rate of 62.10% and this. The benefit / cost date for this project turned out to be well worth of 1.80. The breakeven analysis we can see that the minimum amount in kg to produce for the business to be profitable is below the actual production for the next five years. In conclusion we can say that the project is economically viable, it is a good way to introduce non-traditional export markets of Peru. At the same time the project will be a good source of employment for the area and cause a positive impact on improving the quality of life of its employees.
