The present work had as general aim increase the profitability in Scania of Peru s.a. across an proposal of improvement of the management of the warehouse of parts, where there were evaluated all the factors that affect the efficiency of the warehouse and recognized the impact that it causes in this service. Between the principal factors evaluated with Pareto's graph by his costs we have the level of service (it measures the availability of parts) and is low to the date, the delay in the transport and the high orders, which they concern directly the external and internal sales. The methodology used in the present investigation is: the forecasts of suavizamiento exponential, classification multiple ABC for costs and frequency of orders, implementation of a software, model and ideal quantity of orders, besides the evaluation and selection of suppliers. These will allow us to support suitable inventories, where every article will have a minimal quantity and a maximum quantity; for which when every article comes to his minimum automatically one will proceed with the order and to calculate the ideal quantity the maximum takes as a reference. The selection of the supplier facilitates us to choose it in an ideal way and in agreement to the priorities that our store needs; this way with this implementation we improve our level of service and profitability. The results that were achieved are: the economic viability an NPV of $ 25 282.80, IRR of 94.91 %, Cost benefit (B/C) of 4.33 and one IRP of 2 months with 7 days. It will have a positive impact in the level of service of the warehouse reaching an 88.25 % of 76.7 %, with an index of rotation of 7.33 of 4.96 and one profitability of 3.62 of 2.45 that is had with during the study.
