ABSTRACT The objective of this thesis is to determine the compressive strength of concrete f'c = 175 kg / cm2 with three percentages of replacement of aggregates with recycled concrete. For this study, aggregates from the Roca Fuerte quarry, MS type cement (MH) (R) and concrete blocks collected from a dump were used, which were crushed at the Roca Fuente quarry; It was started evaluating the physical and mechanical properties of the natural and recycled aggregates in the Civil Engineering laboratories of the Universidad Privada del Norte, determining that its granulometry is within the limits according to the ASTM C-33 standard. Consequently, the design was made with aggregates of recycled concrete and natural aggregates for a f'c = 175 Kg / cm2 using the combination methodology of aggregates evaluated in three curing periods 7, 14, 28 days of age. The results obtained in the UPN laboratory indicated that after 7 days of curing the average resistance reached was 163.17 kg / cm² with natural aggregate 100%; 141.87 kg / cm² by replacing 50% of aggregates of recycled concrete, 129.86 kg / cm² by replacing 75% of aggregates of recycled concrete and 96.37 kg / cm² with 100% of aggregates of recycled concrete; for a curing time of 14 days the average resistance reached was 224.33 kg / cm² with 100% natural aggregate; 175.61 kg / cm² when replacing 50% of aggregates of recycled concrete, 163.63 kg / cm² when replacing 75% of aggregates of recycled concrete and 150.11 kg / cm² with 100% of aggregates of recycled concrete; Likewise, in a curing time of 28 days, the average resistance reached was 252.60 kg / cm² with 100% natural aggregate; 205.88 kg / cm² when replacing 50% of aggregates of recycled concrete, 191.24 kg / cm² when replacing 75% of aggregates of recycled concrete and finally 186.35 kg / cm² with 100% of aggregates of recycled concrete. Concluding that when replacing recycled concrete with aggregates, the resistance decreases for those for 7 days up to 40.94%, at 14 days up to 33.09% and at 28 days up to 26.23% with respect to the strength of the standard specimen; the hypothesis is not fulfilled since according to the results the resistance decreases proportionally to the increase of the percentage of recycled concrete used.
