The general objective of this research work was to determine the level of relationship between Quality of Life in Childhood and Emotional Intelligence in students of a State Educational Institution of Florencia de Mora, through a non-experimental, cross-sectional and correlational research design, with a sample made up of 165 students from 8 to 11 years old and using as evaluation instruments the Questionnaire for the Evaluation of the Quality of Life in Childhood and the Emotional Inventory BarOn ICE NA-Abbreviated, obtaining as results that in the variable the Quality of Life in Childhood Personal Development predominates with an Optimal level (M=3.717), while in Emotional Intelligence Stress Management predominates with an Adequate level (M=2.36). In addition, the study variables present a direct and statistically significant relationship r = .305; p < .01; while it was identified that the variable Quality of Life in Childhood is directly related to the Interpersonal, Intrapersonal, Adaptability and Stress Management dimensions, while it is inversely related to the Positive Impression dimension. Therefore, it is concluded that the Quality of Life in Childhood and Emotional Intelligence are correlated in a statistically significant way.
