This study aimed to improve overall maintenance management based on maintainability of equipment hauling Cajamarca mining company achieve increased availability allowing mechanics to those equipment. It began with the diagnosis of the current situation of the company and maintenance management to get to know the weaknesses in the process and to make suggestions for improvements and reduce costs related to maintenance. Also, the proposed improvements will be applied in the area involved with maintenance management. To verify the feasibility of the proposed improvements with an VAN of $ 15'402, 040.02 being greater than zero, suggests that the project pays a higher rate than is required and therefore the project is acceptable compared after applying the savings would indicators with the current situation and the optimum that would measure the company. The results that were obtained are: • the maintenance areas have a diagnosis to identify weaknesses and to provide feedback on the process • indicators were established to ensure proper management of maintenance and ensure the availability of equipment hauling • Improvement actions valued • FODA analysis of the maintenance area to establish maintenance strategies. i.
