The objective of this research work is to implement a study of times and methods to increase productivity in the Ov7 pants line in the clothing company located in S.J.L. For which, as part of the methodology, the type of applied research was used, because theoretical and practical knowledge of various authors have been considered to apply them later and generate new knowledge. In addition, interviews were conducted with those in charge of the lines of work of the sewing plant, in order to be able to detect the causes of the main problem and with said information a questionnaire was prepared, which were filled out by the supervisors. Likewise, as part of the techniques and instruments, observation, time taking, expert judgment, among others, were used. Also, a population of 30 workstations was taken into account and a non-probabilistic sampling was carried out, where the choice of the 10 workstations dedicated to the manufacture of OV7 pants was considered, this being the style with the greatest number of defects during production. production. Where it is concluded that the low productivity was a consequence of the fact that there were no standardized work methods, which represents 77% of the problems presented in the production line.
