Abstract: El presente estudio tiene como objetivo describir la metodología de Lean Healthcare
en un policlínico del distrito de Los Olivos, Lima-Perú en el año 2023, la cual es una
investigación aplicada, no experimental, mixta-descriptiva con diseño transversal, se
consideró como población a la unidad de estudio que es el Policlínico realizando una muestra
censal. Para medir la variable y sus dimensiones se empleó en técnica cuantitativa a la
encuesta teniendo como instrumento al cuestionario, utilizando la escala de Likert la cual nos
permitió conocer el nivel de acuerdo y desacuerdo de los colaboradores y en técnica
cualitativa se consideró la entrevista teniendo como instrumento la guía de entrevista dirigida
al gerente general de la empresa. Entre los resultados obtenidos se logró describir la variable
Lean Healthcare y las dimensiones de gestión por procesos, mejora continua y reducción de
costos, agregando un valor significativo y generando una cultura de calidad efectiva. En
conclusión, en la investigación realizada nos ha proyectado procedimientos, controles y que
con una buena gestión se puede asegurar la situación futura y sostenible en los centros de
salud, permitiendo fortalecer la metodología de Lean Healthcare en instituciones o áreas
específicas de salud.
The objective of this study is to describe the Lean Healthcare methodology in a polyclinic in the district of Los Olivos, Lima-Peru in the year 2023, which is an applied, nonexperimental, mixed-descriptive investigation with a cross-sectional design, it was considered as a population to the study unit, which is the Polyclinic, carrying out a census sample. To measure the variable and its dimensions, the survey was used in a quantitative technique, using the questionnaire as an instrument, using the Likert scale, which allowed us to know the level of agreement and disagreement of the collaborators, and in a qualitative technique, the interview was considered, having as instrument the interview guide addressed to the general manager of the company. Among the results obtained, it was possible to describe the Lean Healthcare variable and the dimensions of process management, continuous improvement and cost reduction, adding significant value and generating an effective quality culture. In conclusion, the research carried out has projected procedures, controls and that with good management the future and sustainable situation in health centers can be ensured, allowing the Lean Healthcare methodology to be strengthened in institutions or specific health areas.
