The main objective of this investigation was to determine the relationship between justice and organizational commitment in the collaborators of the district municipalities of Trujillo. The design was cross-sectional, non-experimental and correlational. We worked with a sample population made up of 83 collaborators from three district municipalities of Trujillo. The data collection instrument has been a self-administered questionnaire, divided into two sections, to measure the two variables at the same time: (a) Organizational justice, with 4 dimensions and 15 items, built based on an adaptation of the Scale of Colquitt's organizational justice; and, (b) Organizational commitment, with 3 dimensions and 9 items, built based on an adaptation of the short version of the Meyer and Allen Organizational Commitment Scale. The results obtained demonstrate the existence of a direct (0.290) and significant (0.008) relationship between the variables organizational justice and organizational commitment, among the collaborators of the three Trujillo district municipalities analyzed. They also demonstrate the existence of a direct relationship between the different dimensions of organizational justice (distributive, procedural, interpersonal, and informational) and organizational commitment; although with different levels of significance (significant in terms of interpersonal and informational justice; and, not significant in terms of distributive and procedural justice).
