The general objective of this research is to determine the compressive strength of concrete by adding 7% and 9% of ground glass in conventional concrete f'c=210 kg/cm2. The type of research is correlational, presenting an applicative type level, and is based on an experimental mode design. The methodology consisted of carrying out the respective analysis of the requirements of the aggregates, as well as obtaining the glass for its subsequent use. As results, the characteristics of the aggregates were obtained in the laboratory of the Universidad Privada del Norte, later, the results of the average resistance to axial compression of the concrete at 7, 14, 21 and 28 days of curing were obtained. Where it was possible to conclude that, when replacing the fine aggregate with 7% and 9% of ground glass, both percentages contribute to the increase in the compressive strength of the concrete, however, when replacing it with 9%, the material manages to have a better behavior to increase its resistance to compression than conventional concrete f'c= 210 kg/cm2.
