In Latin America it is observed that economic sciences have contributed to occupational health and safety, the idea of specifying budgets within organizations aimed at improving working conditions and avoiding work accidents that have a negative impact on productivity and competition in companies. The information collected has been from the EBSCOhost and ProQuest databases and the leading scientific journals of Scielo and Redalyc worldwide, the systematic review of the literature for the years 2016 to 2020 was chosen, seeking to answer the main question: How has evolved occupational health management? As a result, Occupational health management in Latin America is marked by the legal field, which is an obligation on the part of both private and national entities, respecting that point, it is allowed to minimize the number of incidents, accidents and occupational diseases that may cause some damage. It should be noted that this research had limitations such as: access to bibliographic sources in foreign languages, as well as the topic on some websites were diverted. The conclusions indicate that there are companies of different sizes that do not adhere to occupational health management.
