The main objective of this research is to ensure and control the QA/QC quality in the analysis of blast hole samples, in the company Pan American Silver – U.M. La Arena S.A, preventing and detecting errors in sampling, preparation processes, analysis and reporting of samples by the primary laboratory. The design used is of a non-experimental transectional exploratory type, since it is based on the chemical results of the samples obtained that were not manipulated, were obtained in a single moment and will serve to begin to know phenomena about a new problem. Quality Control charts for Blast hole Sampling Precision, Accuracy and Contamination were prepared, validated and analyzed. In this investigation, a total of 5,643 Blast hole samples were evaluated, of which 2,154 were field duplicates, which represents a randomly distributed insertion ratio of 10.52%, which is good and acceptable. In precision, the error rate of the results of Field Duplicates was less than 10%. In Accuracy, the Bias was less than 10%. In Contamination, the evaluation of the preparation of samples with thick blanks was less than 5%. The effect of the improvement of the QA/QC control and assurance system in the analysis of blast hole samples will increase the confidence level of the laboratory results. As a final result, timely measures were proposed to solve problems identified in the sampling and chemical analysis.
