The general objective of this research was to determine the emotional attachment styles in female adolescents in a state of material and/or moral abandonment in a shelter in the city of Cajamarca, 2020. The information was obtained through the application of the CAMIR-R questionnaire evaluating the following security dimensions: availability and support of attachment figures; family concern; parental interference; self-sufficiency and resentment against parents; and childhood trauma, a total of 26 items were used. This research was of a basic descriptive, non-experimental, cross-sectional design. For data analysis, the researchers used the Microsoft Excel 2016 statistical program. The results show 5 female adolescents present secure attachment style, 2 avoidant attachment style, 2 anxious attachment style and 17 disorganized attachment style. Concluding that the most predominant attachment style is disorganized attachment.
