The objective of the study was to determine the impact of the audiovisual narrative of the program '' La Banda del Chino '' on the public opinion of the young people of San Martin de Porres, 2017. The design was non-experimental, descriptive and transversal; with a sample of 382 young people; as a technical survey instrument was used as a scale of 15 questions validated by experts and reliability of 0.80. The opinion was rated as good regular and bad and the impact of the narrative in positive and negative. As results, it was obtained that the public opinion on the audiovisual narration of the program “La Banda del Chino“ was mainly good (74.1%); that is to say, there was a positive impact of audiovisual narration on public opinion. The opinion on the narrative story had a positive impact according to sex, as it was good in men (74.5%) and women (73.7%), the same as in the youth of 22 (88.2%), 23 (73.4%) and 21 (72.6 %) The narrative action had a positive impact since it was good for men (74%) and women (31.1%), it was also good for young people of 20 (74.3%), 22 (72.4%) and 23 (73.4%) . The narrative character had a negative impact since it was regular in men (64.6%) and in women (57.9%), it was also regular in the majority of young people of 20 (60.8%), 21 (69.9%), 22 (55.3 %), 23 (49.4%) and 24 (71.3%). The narrative time had a negative impact, as it was regular both in men (74.5%) and women (76.8%), and in young people of 20 (82.4%), 21 (68.5%), 22 (69.7%), 23 (70.9 %) and 24 (86.3%). Concluding that the impact of the audiovisual narrative of the program '' La Banda del Chino '' in the public opinion of the youth of San Martin de Porres, in 2017 was positive.
