ABSTRACT As a result of the energy audit we present the URE proposals, which are being selected activities of critical points found in the institution, which are described at the end of Chapter 4 with their respective percentages of consumption. These proposals are as follows: change of electricity tariff of MT - 4 Mt - 2, the change of the contracted power of 44.9 kW per 35.0 kW, the empowerment of cooler, the installation of a Bank of capacitors 7 kVAR of capacity, well ground maintenance, change of blades by keys Thermo magnetic keys maintenance and change of lighting, then established an estimate of costs of investment, economic savings and return period of the investment for each one of the URE. The implementation of these improvements would represent a reduction of energy reserves up to a 41.41% on monthly invoicing, is also important to mention that these activities were selected taking into account the budget for energy improvements by the direction of the institution. To conclude we can say that the energy audit was of vital importance, since it provided the information necessary for the identification of areas, activities and equipment, which presented the highest energy consumption, which represent opportunities for improvement to the institution, making this study an important source of information for future research.
