The present study was aimed to determine the feasibility to export a plant called valeriana. This task was undertaken based upon the fact that many international markets need large quantities of the product. Take, for example the case of Herbes de Moli in Spain which is interested in purchasing what we can offer to them. Moreover, it is very likely that this export volume could be increased depending on this company needs and the identification of more providers. In the last few years, the consumption of aromatic and medicinal herbs has reached a steady rise due to their properties to cure mental and physical illnesses. Peru, with unique and varied ecological regions, has numerous native floras which have been cultivated for centuries. This array of plants shows high genetic variability making them medicinal plants and natural products used by the inhabitants. More than 1500 plants have been used traditionally for healing purposes. Herbal Export SRL, a limited liability company, is made up of two partners who plan to invest 34.67% of the total capital whereas the remaining 35.38% be financed by the Credit Bank through a 24-month loan with 8-month grace period and an effective annual interest rate of 14.75%. Besides, 29.95% will be provided by a client to pay for training costs. The total project investment is of USD$ 14,623.65. The final aim of this LLC is to become a Cajamarca business in charge of commercializing good-quality aromatic herbs specially valeriana which is the first the company will start their operations. Herbal Export LLC plans to start their first year by commercializing 30.00 MT and 06 MT in the international and domestic market respectively. In both cases, these volumes will grow annually up to 16% in the international and national. It´ll be increase to fifth year in 54.32 MT. The prices for each tone of valeriana in the internacional market have gradually increased. At present the price per tone is of US$ 1,900 (FOB Value) and US$ 1,250 in the domestic market. The economic and financial indicators for the evaluation of this Project confirm its viability in terms of a Real VANE of US$ 59,041.79 and a real TIRE of 37.43%. This information is supported by the cost-benefit RATIO of 2, 76.
