Characteristics of durability, resistance and economy have made concrete one of the most widely used materials in the world. However, in spite of the evident importance of this material, the manufacturing, placement and curing procedures in some cases are not adequate, directly affecting the behavior and quality of the concrete. In order to avoid the production of low quality concrete, a high degree of control is required during the process, from mixing and pouring, to the completion of the curing; that is why the research is focused on evaluating new Curet z, Per Kuret Y Masterkure HD 220 WB, on the compressive strength and sorptivity in concrete presenting additives. The present thesis was carried out in Trujillo, at the Universidad Privada del Norte and the Universidad Nacional de Trujillo. The influence of the curators on the mechanical and physical properties of concrete was determined. For the realization of the thesis an experimental design was used, the sampling was probabilistic with a population of 308 specimens, for the compressive strength test 256 specimens of Ø 10 x 20 cm were used which are divided into 4 groups of 64 specimens for unmixed, plasticized, retarded and accelerated concrete, for the sorptivity 48 test tubes of Ø 10 x 5cm, the data collection was made with the observation technique, the instrument used was the note taking technique, to analyze the data the statistical inference was used, the problem is that the traditional curing in the work does not satisfy the minimum conditions that the concrete. As for the results, the highest resistance was obtained with Masterkure 220 WB in concrete without additives with 348 kg/cm2 and with plasticizer 403 kg/cm2; by kuret for concrete with retardant 375 kg/cm2 and for accelerators with 356 kg/cm2; for the sorptivity it was obtained as a result that the cylindrical test tubes cured by immersion in water, have less capillary absorption, since its curing allows to generate more time of hydration to the concrete, unlike the cures that when the water evaporates from the concrete, a network of pores is generated that allows a greater capillary absorption. It was possible to determine the influence of the curators on the compressive strength and sorptivity of the concrete, finding that for compressive effects the curators do satisfy the requirements, but for a permeability of the concrete it is recommended to analyze the use of waterproofing.
