ABSTRACT In the development of the present investigation the INFLUENCE OF THREE LEVELS OF JUICE OF Agave americana (blue penca) has been determined ON THE RESISTANCE TO COMPRESSION OF THE CONCRETE F'C = 210 Kg / cm2. Aggregates of the quarry were used Victory with addition of American Agave juice in different percentages (1%, 3%, 5%) with respect to the weight of the cement. For this purpose, the physical-mechanical properties of the aggregates were determined according to specifications N.T.P 400.037 / ASTM C33, and then the design of mixtures of the standard concrete using the method of the ACI 211 committee. In the present investigation, a process of mechanical extraction of the juice of the American Agave (blue penca) and its influence of three levels of American Agave juice on the compressive strength of the concrete f'c = 210 kg / cm2 was used. For which standard specimens have been prepared and with addition in the percentages 1%, 3%, 5%; Analyzing the concrete in a hardened state (N.T.P. 339.034 / ASTM C39). By mechanical tests at 7, 14 and 28 days. When evaluating, it was obtained that by adding 1% of American Agave juice the resistance obtained at 28 days was 319.24 kg / cm2 increasing by 32.02% with respect to the resistance to the standard test tube, when adding 3% of juice of Agave Americana the resistance obtained at 28 days was 349.78 Kg / cm2 increasing by 44.70% with respect to resistance to the test specimen and by adding 5% of American Agave juice resistance obtained at 28 days was 295.24 kg / Cm2 increasing by 22.10% with respect to the resistance to the test specimen. Conclud that the trend increases considerably the resistance when adding the levels of additive 1% and 3%, in contrast with the level of 5% this decreases.
