The Metrology Laboratory constantly seeks the continuous improvement of its Management model with the commitment to ensure that the reported analytical results are made through reliable and timely measurements through the continuous improvement of its processes and the technical competencies of the staff, guiding the management to the satisfaction and fulfillment of the requirements agreed with the clients within the framework established by the ISO / IEC 17025: 2006 for Accreditation of Laboratories. With the development of this project a proposal is made to improve the performance of the Coordination Management model through an initial diagnosis identifying each of the requirements described in the NTP ISO / IEC 17025: 2006 in its Management model and determining the state of each of them with their weaknesses and strengths. A methodology was defined to prioritize the relevant aspects derived from the initial diagnosis consisting of defining the criteria for prioritization, determining the parameters for each of the defined criteria, making a qualification taking into account the previous points to prioritize and select the requirements to to work. Then improvement plans were proposed with their respective objective, actions, managers, resources, time and indicators, choosing one of them taking into account factors such as risk, costs and savings to finally establish the impact of the proposed improvement plan.
